An alternative way to dial a RingPlus access number is to use Voxox. When you are able to signup with Voxox, you can call 2 h (120 min) for free. You can dial via the Voxox softphone, ATA or your own softphone to one of the many US accessnumbers of Ringplus and then dial your wanted destination. I could dial the US ambassy in Kiev (Ukraine) as I did before. I used my ATA (ASUS AX-112). No problem!

Maybe it is possible to signup for more then one account at Voxox. (changing IP and email address)

I tried to phone Turkey by calling the LAUSANNE access number (0041-215330428) with voipbuster. From there you can dial e.g. Turkey (011-90 etc. + #) and all other countries.

An ATA is an Analog Telephone Adaptor.

The ATA is connected to:

- power suply

When all is correctly installed your phone is ringing when you get a voip call. You can also use your phone to make a voip call. There is no need for a computer.

Meanwhile I checked the Boston access number for Bezecom (857-362-1666). Even when I call direct to this number, the Callsdiscount computer doesn't recognize the phone number I dial. When I do the same for the NY access number (718-725-8888) it works.

My conclusion is that not all Bezecom access numbers transfer the dialing tones with a quality which is good enough for the Callsdiscount computer. Please use an alternative Bezecom access number when it is not functioning.

Two examples:

a) You live in Peru and you want to call Switzerland mobile.
You call the local bezecom access number in Lima: 1-7185055 and then the bezecom number is: 531833. Now you can dial 00+countrycode Switzerland + mobilenumber (excl. starting zero)

b) You live in the US, New York and you want to call Germany.
You call the local bezecom access number in New York: 1-718-725-8888 and then the bezecom number is: 531833. Now you can dial 00+countrycode Germany + number (excl. starting zero)

PokeTalk is based out of Isreal, however they offer free international calls to a lot of countries. Poketalk is purely advertisement based free international calling service.

You will see ads targeted to your country or your interest (you select while signing up). Since Poketalk is still new, you might not find the advertisment to be too relevant, however am sure they would improve.

Poketalk currently offers only 5 minutes of free calls from Landlines and 2 minutes to mobile. 2 minutes is probably too less to even try :-). 5 minutes can be at times pretty good to chat a little bit and hang up. Who would complain about a free international call?

They currently only offer calls FROM following countries:

2) Vyke PC Phone: The most basic functionality by any VOIP provider. You can download their softphone.

3) Vyke Call back: A really innovative way to make free VOIP Calls. You first need to register your number and then you need to dial, Vyke Callback number (i.e. +4918059908850 or +442071542887), as soon as you hear the busy tone, hang up! Within 10 seconds, the Vyke service will call you back and when you answer you will hear the dial tone. Enter the number you wish to call and you will be connected.

4) Vyke Web Calling: Vyke also offers Web calling, which will give you a flexibility of Phone to Phone Calling. Enter your number and your friend's number and click call. You can also delay calls if you want to. Another good feature.

Vyke apparently offering free voip calls to european destinations and US and Canada. However they charge 4 cents setup fee per call.

Overall Vyke has potential become a leading VOIP provider if they manage to crack this overcrowded market. With Free calling offers pressure cutting your bottomline, it's difficult for VOIP provider to continue to provide Free calls.

Although, its not very clear but I heard rumors that the call is limited to only 10 mins each call.

Remember, this service only works for people living in USA since they will give a call, although you can always forward your calls with any SIP provider by getting a free USA number and setting forward to your phone. That way, you can make free calls to USA from anywhere in the world.

Quick Hint:
1) Get register on IPKall and get a USA number. They have direct option to fwd call on sip account.
2) Forward your IPKall usa number to e.g. gtalk2voip.
3) All calls will be fwd on your landline/mobile via phone gnome

With that workaround/hack, you can now use viatalkfree even from outside of USA. It seems we have some great solutions now for people to make free calls in USA.
