After setup an account you get the following information:
You now have an Israeli phone number. As you probably know, we allow you to recieve incoming calls from any phone (landline, cellular and Internet) using your computer, regardless of your location in the world and with no cost to you. The only condition - Internet connection. Moreover: you may call from your Spikkophone to any phone without paying! To recieve a call from Israel, give your new phone number to your friends. Friends who call you will pay for a local call, even if you are overseas.
How does it work?
As a member of Club Spikko you are entitled to minutes for making outgoing calls to regular phones. Calls between members (computer to computer) are not limited by minutes.
In order to make calls to outside numbers (i.e. cellphones or landlines, local or international), you must accumulate minutes. You gain minutes by recieving calls from outside numbers as follows:
- For every minute of conversation on an incoming call from an Israeli
landline or cellphone you get one minute of outgoing call to Israeli landline.
- That same minute to landline can be used as 15 seconds of conversation
to an Israeli cellphone.
- You can see the minutes at your disposal in your private area
