With HSI (high speed internet) 24/24, you easily can organise free voip. Maybe we go now a little fast but we will explain all later or use wikipedia.
1) sign up with gizmo5
2) you get a sip uri or sip address like mxxxxxxxxxxx@proxy01.sipphone.com which you can find at your gizmo5 sipphone under edit/my profile
3) when you have an ATA or VOIP modem, use you gizmo5 acccount data as mentioned in 2) to program your device
4) when you don't have an ATA or VOIP modem you should use your gizmo5 sipphone
5) sign-up with sipbroker (http://www.sipbroker.com/) and use your gizmo5 sip address
6) now you get your sipbroker alias like: *011-cc-123456 (cc= country code, 123456 = your number to choose)
7) check the PSTN access numbers listed on the sipbroker site. Everybody can call you by dialing the local access number + (when asked by operator) your sipbroker alias.
8) Use an US access number (e.g. Boston 617-399-8298) when dialing with earthcaller. (http://www.earthcaller.com/)
